The tranquil surroundings, comfortable accommodations, and large common areas offer all the qualities for a productive and relaxing retreat. The ideal size for a smaller company board or a small group of executives. The large common area in the Inn will make a great meeting space.

Family Reunions
Makanda Inn is the perfect spot for your next family reunion. With so many activities close by for all ages from horseback riding and fishing or kayaking to golf and wineries or fine dining. The Inn has multiple gathering areas indoors and out, including areas to play cards or board games or take it outside for a fire in the Chiminea and relax and enjoy each other’s company. Makanda Inn is also a short drive to Little Grand Canyon, Garden of the Gods, the Cache River Wetlands, and Crab Orchard Wildlife Refuge. Love Birding? Come to a property that has delighted others who have counted 40 – 60 different species here. There is so much more, like ziplining and we are happy to tell you all about it.
